Bio
I’m a career coach and identity strategist based in San Francisco. Over about seven years, I’ve worked with close to a thousand people across tech, gaming, creative, nonprofit, healthcare — and I keep seeing the same pattern with high-achieving leaders: accomplished people who got so good at being what people needed that they lost track of their own north star.
Most of the clients I work with are in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. Directors, VPs, executives, senior individual contributors — thoughtful people who have built an impressive career and then slowly realized the role stopped fitting. Some are seeking a meaningful pivot but keep looking outward at what seems available instead of inward at what they actually want. Some look successful by every external measure and feel hollow anyway. Some are multipotentialites facing an embarrassment of riches, unable to choose a direction.
What they share is that they can’t quite name what’s wrong, and they’ve usually decided it’s their own failing.
It isn’t.
What I’ve found, over and over, is that the disconnect isn’t about skills or strategy — it’s about identity and being able to recognize the consistent ways people have shown up professionally, regardless of role or environment. After years of adapting to workplaces, expectations, and the roles other people cast them in, high-achieving professionals internalize beliefs and behaviors that no longer match who they are or where they want to go. My work is helping you see what has always been true about you, separate it from what you simply adapted to, and use that clarity to choose a path based on where you are now, not only where you’ve been.
Career growth without self-knowledge optimizes tactics and short-term wins over long-term happiness — and that’s a straight path to burnout. Résumés, interviews, and job searches should be downstream of that clarity, not a replacement for it.
Outside of work, you’ll find me walking San Francisco’s parks, deep in conversation, playing a video or board game, making soap, singing my heart out, or rolling around with dogs and cats.
📚FAVORITE BOOKs
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I love coming-of-age books in which the main character is faced with figuring things out for the first time, and develops their sense of self over the course of the story.
I love anything by Vonnegut, because of his whimsical style and ability to blend depth with simplicity.
ADHD 2.0. Many of my clients have ADHD, and I went deep into that world to better understand their patterns and inner world — and to see how much of a strength it becomes once harnessed. It expands well beyond the common understanding of what ADHD is and how it shows up, and it’s a quick read by design.
FUN FACT
I once had a life-changing opportunity to sing with a choir at Carnegie Hall, and it was one of the most awe-inspiring moments of my entire life.

Why I work with HTYC
HTYC shares many of my personal and professional philosophies — that work should fit the person, not the other way around, and that getting there means focusing on strengths and identity work before diving into tactics. This means I don’t have to twist my beliefs to fit this work. Everything I’ve taken in from the company, whether it’s the book, the podcast, or the videos, sounds like language I already speak. But HTYC goes further into the psychology underneath the decision — which is what helps people understand their own purpose, and what determines whether a career change actually sticks.
