Bio

Being a mom of four, most of what I do happens behind the scenes—keeping things moving, organized, and a little less overwhelming for all of us. It comes naturally, so it’s no surprise I ended up doing this professionally as well.

I support Scott and the HTYC team as the Senior Executive Assistant, which really means I’m usually somewhere in the middle of a lot of moving pieces—helping bring structure, clarity, and follow-through to whatever’s in front of us.

I didn’t set out to become the person who brings structure to things; it just kept happening. Many moons ago (in a land far, far away), at the beginning of my career, I’d find myself in the middle of fast-moving environments—lots going on, lots of ideas, and not always a clear path forward… and somehow I’d start connecting pieces, asking questions, and helping things fall into place. Not perfectly, but enough to move things forward.

20+ years later, that’s still how I work, and I genuinely love it.

What I Love: RV-ing, exploring new places, cold weather (I live in Florida – the struggle is real!), baking, making someone laugh, experiences that feel real, grounding, or meaningful, and those rare moments where everything just… clicks.

Personal nemesis: Deciding what’s for dinner.

FAVORITE MOVIES

  1. Pride & Prejudice (obviously the 2005 version)
  2. The Shawshank Redemption
  3. A Bronx Tale

FUN FACT

I was born and raised in England. In April 1998, my parents (and 2 of my 3 brothers) immigrated to the US when I was 14 years old.

ASSESSMENTS RESULTS

Learner: I’m curious by nature, which usually leads me a few layers deep down rabbit holes. Did you know sharks existed before trees? That one came from digging into Excel formulas.

Empathy: I pick up on what people need—and hear the noise in the silence.

Achiever: I like things done. It doesn’t matter how long it takes; I’ll find a way.

Restorative: If something isn’t working, I can’t really leave it alone. (Probably why I’m currently restoring a 100-year-old typewriter.)

Arranger: It’s a little wild how comfortable I am in chaos. It’s like a fixer-upper—I don’t see the mess, I see what it’s going to become.

Why I work with HTYC

I’m fascinated by how work, money, and mindset intertwine, and how seeing and understanding those connections can shift everything. There aren’t many quiet opportunities in such a fast- paced world, but I’ve learned that calm doesn’t come from having less going on; it comes from knowing how to move through it.

I’m also a big believer in having the right people in your corner, not just advocating for you, but actually supporting you and holding you accountable to who you really are and what genuinely makes you happy.

Put those two together, and you have HTYC. Our mission is to change the way people think about work, and to do that, you have to change the way you think. And honestly, that’s the most exciting part.

“Our chief want in life is someone who will make us do what we can.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
