Nicole Lenzen

Career Coach

Coach. Strategist. Solo Mom. Adventurer. Learner.

Bio

My career journey has been anything but linear: from computer science, to running a couture fashion business, to leading global innovation projects at a top consulting firm. For years, I ran on the fumes of ambition until chronic stress and a Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis forced me to redesign my life. That turning point taught me to honor my needs and well-being, and ultimately led me to coaching.

Today, I help clients expand into truer versions of themselves, write their own rules, and build careers that fuel rather than deplete them. With 20+ years in leadership, consulting, and coaching, I bring both professional expertise and hard-won wisdom from navigating a multifaceted career, chronic illness, and solo parenting by design.

As an ICF-certified coach specializing in career transitions, leadership development, and parental leave, my approach blends inner work, strategic visioning, tactical planning, and mindfulness practices for nervous system regulation. Clients say I combine empathy, insight, and tailored support to create a safe, transformative space that helps them connect with their values, uncover new perspectives, and step into choices that feel authentic and sustainable.

FUN FACT

In my most active NYC subculture engagement, I performed as a solo jazz + swing dancer, and played 🎹 keyboards + sang in a psychedelic rock/shoegaze band.

These days, I find joy in going on adventures 🏞️ with my daughter, exploring new cities and local culture by bike 🚴‍♀️, learning 💥 every day, sharing yummy meals 🥗 with loved ones, and remote camping ⛺ and hiking.
